service and rescue too.  Rescue is an integral part of who we are and we have personally rehabilitated and assisted with the placement of hundreds of
cases. We pride ourselves on the beautiful CKCS that decorate our home and bring so much joy to families over New England and the Eastern Seaboard.

Retiring dogs never sat well with us.  We would only have one or two litters and retire female dogs very young.  Although still young, we became
attached and the last retirement was difficult for everyone emotionally.  It was after this last retirement that we decided that we had to implement a
new policy.  After much thought and consideration we came up with a program that was a winning situation for all involved.  We do not have all of our
dogs on site.  Some of our dogs live with family and friends which is why you're able to view up to four generations depending on the breeding.  We're
grateful to these families because it makes it possible for us to conduct a humane operation.  Our breeding protocol allows the dogs to live their lives as
pets while allowing us the option of continuing lines that we've worked with for years without compromising their comfort and contentment.  There are
several beautiful dogs that continue our lines living throughout New England in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut and a few beyond.

Our dogs that live with friends and family come back to us once a year to be bred.  The puppies are home raised by us in our home. Once the litter is
raised, the parent dog returns to their home and the puppies are placed with loving families. Our dogs are placed free of charge with the right to breed
during the course of his/her life.  Females are on a 2 litter for life contract and males are on annual contracts as it's not the same physical investment of
pregnancy and whelp. We have found this to be the most indefectible breeding model to preserve our lines, avoid "retirement" rehoming and ensure a
life of happiness and permanency for every dog.  We have been pioneers in this breeding standard and hope all breeders will adopt a similar prototype.
